verun.app ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, process, and protect your information when you use our ad automation software. For the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation/Act (NDPR/NDPA), verun.app acts as the Data Controller for your account data, and a Data Processor for the marketing data you process through our platform.
Identity & Contact Data: Name, email address, phone number, company name.
Financial Data: Billing address and payment card details (processed securely by our third-party payment gateways; we do not store full credit card numbers).
Technical Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, time zone, and authentication data.
Usage & Platform Data: Information regarding how you use verun.app, integrated third-party accounts (Google/Meta OAuth tokens), and the ads you automate.
We only process your personal data when we have a legal basis to do so:
Contractual Necessity: To register your account, process payments, and provide the verun.app Service.
Consent: When you explicitly opt-in to receive marketing communications or non-essential cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time.
Legitimate Interests: To improve our software, prevent fraud, and ensure IT security.
Legal Obligation: To comply with tax, accounting, and legal requirements.

Automate and manage your connected digital ad accounts via API.
Provide customer support and system maintenance.

Active Accounts: Data is kept for the duration of your active subscription.
Terminated Accounts: Account data is permanently deleted or anonymized 60 days after account termination, except for financial/billing records, which we are legally required to keep for up to seven (7) years for tax and auditing purposes.
We do not sell your data. We share your data only with:
Service Providers: Cloud hosting platforms (e.g., AWS/Google Cloud), payment processors, and analytics providers bound by strict Data Processing Agreements (DPAs).
Third-Party Platforms: Data explicitly sent to Google, Meta, or other platforms to execute the core function of verun.app (creating and managing ads).
Legal Authorities: If required by a court order, subpoena, or to comply with applicable laws.
Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside of your residence (e.g., servers located in the US, EU, or Nigeria). Whenever we transfer data out of the European Economic Area (EEA) or Nigeria, we ensure a similar degree of protection is afforded by implementing safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and ensuring our vendors are GDPR and NDPR compliant.
